The Inversnaid Hotel is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland, tucked away on the north eastern banks of Loch Lomond. This secluded hotel is accessed by either a 16 mile single track road or often by ferryboat to the more populated eastern shore of the Loch. The ferry crossing takes approximately 10-15 minutes and although the hotel is a distance from the nearest village there is a subsidised taxi service which operates for locals at £5 a journey (price correct in April 2017). The closest city to the hotel is Stirling which is 1 hour away and Glasgow is approximately 1.5 hours drive away.
Despite Inversnaid’s remote location it is a hub for walkers travelling the popular West Highland Way, and pleasure boats frequently stop in.
